A Visual Diary: Milan Design Week 2026 (Part Two)
More pretty pictures from out and about in the city.
Realising that we just didn’t have enough time to get to everything we wanted to see, we took an evening stroll to see ARTE from the outside knowing the exterior and window were spectacular. To be honest, it just made me sadder that I wasn’t going to make it inside! Wah!
The next morning we headed to 10 Corso Como where Moncler had installed a giant puffy octopus (as you do), which was pretty cool and attracted quite the crowd. I fell in love with several Moncler pieces which I absolutely cannot afford, so I consoled myself by smelling perfume and getting lots of garden inspiration from the beautiful rooftop garden instead.
We headed into the land of luxury to see the Kwungho Lee x Bottega Veneta installation called Lightful. Just a tad obsessed with these incredible chair sculptures.
Then off to see Yinka Ilori’s Veuve Clicquot collaboration called Chasing the Sun, on the most beautiful and perfect sunny day, so we celebrated with a glass of champagne in the cafe afterwards.
Followed by a trip to see the Kelly Wearstler x H&M collection, because were you even in Milan if you didn’t?! It’s great. I loved almost all of it, especially the framed lamps, and modular sofas.
We did a fly by a few more places, including the Arket merry-go-round where I failed dismally to get a decent photo. The press pics minus allllll the people are definitely better!
And just like that, our whirlwind tour of Milan Design Week screeched to a halt, but not before a small visa / digital hiccup at the airport just to get my adrenalin pumping, so a tip for anyone living in the UK on a Visa rather than a British passport - you need to digitally link you visa and your passport. Or else.
Maybe I’ll shut up about how magical Milan Design Week is now. Or maybe I won’t…

Oh, that looks so inspirational! I love anything Yinka Ilori does, and the Moncler octopus!!!!
So amazing....all of it !
Nuisance about the visa thing.
